I never used Napster, I was too young on the hey days
Same, I started with Kazaa and iMesh. Around the time Napster came out my main source of music was the Now That's What I Call Music! compilations I had the one with "Lucky" and "Holler" on it and my stanning for Britney started then.

MTV Latin America had these messy video shows where they'd have people send in pictures trying to look sexy and the whole show would be people sending in their rankings and comments via text message or on online forums while a music video played in the background It was called Sexsi o Sexno

I used to get so mad when my Kazaa downloads were stuck at 97%.
I still don't know how I didn't die of heart attacks back then. Perched HOURS for a video, when it was on the 90%s the dial-up connection went down And when you finally downloaded, it was a fake file
I actually somewhat miss the idea of sitting in front of the tv waiting to see your favorite music video. Seems more intimate than the fact that your favorite video is literally two clicks away now.
It's weird still seeing videos from 2005 and 2006 still up on YouTube. So many videos have been taken down due to copyright infringement, it's not even funny. I used to make fan-made videos. I still have them on my external hard-drive.
That reminds me I re-watched The Hobbit on HBO this weekend (a few times!) and it's a lot better than I remembered tbh. The 48 fps in theaters was a mess.
