Mary's run will be similar to Lady Antebellum's and Blake Shelton's if anything. Josh Groban is MOR and the grannies would have picked up that in loads either way, but his album had a slow start compared to where he peaked in the end - 750k or something in a week. I remember people were saying that Lady Antebellum were flopping because their Christmas album opened with 23k in October, and people were acting shocked because Michael Buble had a huge sales drop in January.

November 1st is only two weeks after October 15th. Two weeks makes that much difference? I didn't know Halloween had so much impact. 12K is bad. I don't know how you can defend it. And exactly, Mary should have outsold Mariah. lol
