I HATE to say this, but I am kinda underwhelmed. While I think that Dark God, WoA, Legendary Lovers and Choose Your Battles are epic and Birthday, Ghost, Unconditionally, Roar and International Smile are great, the rest is a mediocre mess. Lyrically this is a great record and all of the tracks are meaningful, but the album as a whole is just ok. Nothing more. I agree with the reviewers who gave it 3/5.

Same, but the retro-slow vibe of the album is a very good contrast to TD, which is definitely going to work for Katy. My only complaint is that almost every song has synth drums, making them sound too similar to each other.

I can see how Katy claimed Prism would be a dark album, which it is and I'm not here for any of those upbeat trash songs that she has on this album (i.e. International Smile). The dark songs>>>>
