Am I the only one who can't help but imagine that line in the last chorus of Almost Home "Just open up your eyes and goooo" changed into "The art of letting goooo". I hope Mariah will serve powerful vocals and whistles a la Emotions! I don't want to offend the Lambs, but Tbh, I listened to her Memoirs and E=MC2 albums and she needs to quit that lazy singing technique. Edit: Oh, on most of the album Charmbracelet too, I don't know why she insists on singing all her songs with weaker vocals nowadays. Don't tell me that's because of her age, Cher is like 67 and her new album contains more powerful vocals than Mariah's last 2 albums. I see an improvement with Almost home, especially the second half of the song. She has taken so long to record this album, I hope her vocals are on point.

Well I guess I'm guilty of similar crimes, like when I only hear the first few notes of "There's Got To Be A Way" before I skip to "I Don't Wanna Cry"
Buttttt you really should listen to "So Blessed" because you're missing a really amazing MC moment! At some point between the first chorus and the bridge she just starts SCREAMING, like it's a screamo song basically. And during her screaming rant, she drags Madonna, saying something like, "I AM SO BLESSED WITH BETTER VOCALS THAN MADONNA" or something. You gotta listen to the whole song ASAP to hear it! Some of her best vocals tbh.

I feel you. Especially when people say they haven't heard her older albums, It makes me feel old or something lol Shes has so many great albums so I'd recommend listening to them. If you are are a Mariah stan I'm sure you will love them.
