I think it's a KILLER track, but him using those words don't want me to listen to him again lol. It's weird, I was okay with him using those kind of things in the past because I thought he has changed now, well, he hasn't changed at all, this is just laughable, and all the gays defending him are laughable too.

I mean, WTF, society takes everyday little little steps to accept it more, and he as a person who is in the spotlight is making fun of it and people think it's okay because it's Eminem.

If it's any consolation I highly doubt this song will be a bigger radio hit than Same Love.

Eminem is last generation's superstar. Obviously he will still be successful but his movement of influence is over.

I know that *I* don't take what he says seriously whatsoever.

...BUT the problem is that the majority of Em's fans are probably between the ages of 13 - 21, they're super impressionable, & even if he's "joking" () by using gay slurs, he's still reinforcing to these kids that these are okay words to use.

It's not like saying 'f*ck' or any other general swear word. These are words that are used to demean & target a specific group of people, which is why I think it's really tacky & dumb, especially if it's all "just a joke".

Most swear words meant something else originally but they're hardly ever used in that context anymore. For example, "bastard" means someone born outside of marriage, but it's hardly ever used to mean that anymore, it's become mainly a generic insult, and I wouldn't say if someone used the word that they hate people born out of wedlock.
