Disregarding that though he's still lyrically off his game... a lot of corny, not much clever.

i don't know if i would say he lyrically fell off....
relapse was a really lyrical album, clever punchlines, incredible rhyme patterns
recovery had it's corny points, but for the most part he stayed lyrical and gave some of the best punchlines of his career in tracks like no love, almost famous, etc.
encore had it's weird & immature lows, overall a confusing album, but it's highs i would say were pretty lyrical, definitely his worst album lyrically.
and then with in between releases like "the warning", and some of his freestyles and verses on hell: the sequel and "forever" i think he's shown lyrically he's still there
