MMm you're almost there there are few things you have to do before

Pokécommunism makes leveling so quick now. For example, I was searching for a female Espurr and one point and all my Pokemon jumped several levels during the hunt even though I only used one the whole time.

I probably have 16 hours in. Maybe more. And I told myself I was going to sleep a while ago, and stopped playing but continuing and breeding a batch of Charmanders seems so tempting rn.

Oh I just got one recently. You get it somewhere in the gap between the 3rd and 4th gym. Can't remember the exact location

I really like how the Lapras you get given actually shows up as a Lapras when you use surf.
The other Pokemon are still blue blobs from Gen 3/4/5 tho.
