It'd be nice to finally have a twist and have Sidney die, but we are all expecting/wanting that to happen so it wouldn't be to shocking. If it's an amazing script then I don't have a huge problem

It was good! Hit Girl's nailing it in the trailer.
I just watched the trailer today just because of the brilliant coffee shop prank promotion. I was shocked that it's Hit Girl! Never saw her acting before only saw her in Wimpy Kid, Kickass and 42. also, I though Carrie would be played by a skinny model type girl.
Meh. I used to think Sidney dying would be cool, but I realize it'd be a total flip-off to the fans. Like she's the ultimate heroine, she can't ****ing die NOW lol. There's like no point to that. The only thing they need to do is work STAB out of the equation, kick up the extremes like they did in Scream 2 and make it epic. Also they need a fresher killer/motivation. Sidney's blood line coming after her is a little tired.
I think it would add a new twist to the slasher franchise though...
The possibility to actually be scared might come back.
Halloween: Resurrection is a perfect example as to why 'found footage' doesn't belong near a slasher film. (Thanks for reminding me of that mess New Way to Bleed)
Just watched The Curse of Chucky. Surprisingly good. Wayyyy better than The Seed of Chucky. The storyline was great and I liked most of the characters. I thought it was gonna be really bad considering it went straight to DVD.
