Jay-Z's late career wheeze will probably keep Born Sinner out of the noms. The Grammy voters love them an old fogey. Kanye wins the award in a landslide. "Yeezus" was somewhat hot and cold with critics, but the praise was effusive. But you can't deny his history in this category. He's released 4 rap albums previously. Every single one won this award. The only question is if the voters will go all Lucy-with-the-football again by nominating him for any of the big 3. Because they utterly refuse to give him one of those. He is an astonishing 0-9 in them including an almost farcical 0 for 5 in Album of the Year.

I'm willing to bet real money it's gonna come down to Kendrick or Macklemore. Jay and Ye didn't accomplish enough for the voters to give it to them and Drake is still a non factor. Kendrick has the beast status and macklemore is white & has the sales.

The Grammy Angle: “Locked Out Of Heaven” has a good chance at a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year next year. Several other songs in the current top 10 were entered in this year’s Grammy process and thus can’t compete for that top prize next year. Among them: Rihanna’s“Diamonds”, The Lumineers’ “Ho Hey” and Phillip Phillips’ “Home.”

Im so mad that Diamonds cant get any nomination. The song took off after nominations had been annouced. Rihanna has been robbed for serveral times: we found love (song/record of the year, best dance recording), diamonds ( song/record of the year, best pop vocal performance).

am hoping for a nomination too, but i have a feeling she might just get ROTY ,BSvisual blah blah only and win them, strange though how they didn't submit for best pop solo

Wait Robin didn't submit for best Rap/sung? i honestly thought that was the one he would pick up if nominated since some might not take it seriously in the R&B fields
