They have become more common again (for whatever reason), but for a few years there it was increasingly rare for films with big openings to see them.
The flip side is Wednesday drops have gotten bigger recently as compensation. It's weird how the volatility has increased compared to like 2003-2010 since Tuesday discount days have been around forever.
It's gonna struggle to go Gold at this point.
