Miley actually is really similar to Legend X a la Stripped era. The press and hate Legend got for "Dirrty" was crazy and the video was banned in so many places / only played at certain hours.

Except Legend was global and Miley is local.

Miley's situation is somewhat different from Christina's. Miley's essence this era (and the last before, but more-so this era) has relied on shock-factor. And she's milked it to the point where it's debatable she won't recover. It's tainted her image drastically. Christina's was never that severe.
