This is my first post in this thread since before the leak.
Just letting y'all know that I actually did hear Timber when it first leaked, but I was unable to reply.
OH MY asdfghjkl TIMBER IS AMAZING. And I don't care what y'all say I've always kind of bopped to Pitbull and his parts SLAY. As someone else said, there are no tacky mentions of Mr. Worldwide, #dale or Miami and travelling across the globe.
Now, for Ke$ha... her vocals are better on Timber then on ANY track on the Warrior album. And I don't feel that this is an exaggeration in the slightest. I'm so so so happy that this is basically Pitbull & Ke$ha, even though Ke$ha is only a featured artist. The harmonica in the song is such a brilliant idea to separate it from "all of the other dance tracks" that are coming out.
I can really feel this having "Wake Me Up" type success. But even if it doesn't have amazing success, I'm still happy because I've got a new bop and K$ has delivered in a way that I didn't expect her too.
Going on replay until K$ ha 3rd album is released.
