EDIT: i agree but in my opinion they should stop promoting Britney like a sex machine, she doesn't feel comfortable doing too much anymore as she said in that radio interview, she needs to grow musically, i hope what she's been saying about the album having midtempos and ballads it's true.

I obviously am under no illusion that Bruno Mars has a bigger fanbase than Britney, but he released his 2nd album with a HUGE lead single and it didn't even sell 190k 1st week. So now think about it.

Be prepared for very modest first week sales, the good part is that the first 5 weeks will be probably more stable and bigger than Femme fatale's due to December time. Wich means the abum could open lower than FF but end with around the same sales.
And if she actually releases a lot of singles the album could have more longevity than FF ... I mean she got a 2 years contract in Vegas and she will need material out during all that time to keep the interest , I don't see her releasing just 3 - 4 singles when she has a f*cking 2 years show, so this could at least mean she will release like 6- 7 singles from the album? I can only dream

I can definitely see RCA re-releasing the 8th album with 4 or 5 new tracks by the end on 2014, just in time for the 2nd year of Vegas shows.

Yes, I have the feeling this will be a long era .... I know planet hollywood won't want her to head a show for 2 years without material out , she will likely be releasing stuff while she is with this Vegas contract

I don't see a whole new album before 2016. She will most likely finish the Vegas residency with material she's been recording in 2012/2013. MAYBE she could record a couple of new tracks while she's in Vegas, but now a full album.
