It's because Britney stops them from being the top female of the 21st century.
What's said is that they come for her because Britney is an easy target meanwhile Pink and Rihanna have outsold Beyonce WW as well. They come for them but not as much.
I guess because Britney has outsold beyonce in the US and WW and the fact that it will take 5/6 albums for Beyonce to clear what Britney did her first album and will take Beyonce's entire career to clear what Britney did in her first 2 years in the game...and the fact that a Britney flops still means top 10 in itunes and top 10/15 on hot 100.
A beyonce flop means #29 peak
A Britney album can sell half of Beyonce's with Beyonce doing 4x the promotion and releasing 2x the amount of videos...literally.
I think it also has to do with Britney inspiring beyonce so much that they are mad that the truth is what it is.
Lastly, no matter how many hair or weave twirls Beyonce does...Britneys are iconic from her highs/lows, videos, performances, image, music, albums, trends, originality etc...and she barely even tries where Beyonce clearly tries so damn hard.
Oh and Britney actually knows the difference between being influenced (putting her own spin and her own charm and charisma and taking the best from Madonna (controversy), Janet (electric entertainer) and Paula (coquettish, nonthreatening personable bubbly cheerleader) vs. rip off copy cat where you take from past and present and pass it off as your own until someone finds out and then claim you were inspired.
