when you are a veteran you don't need all that killing the surprise...if anything you NEED to give people more reason to know that you still have it.
She needs a 2nd single out before the album and hopefully she sets up something with MTV
Seriously, although you the tickets are selling nicely she needs a MTV documentary of the Vegas rehearsals, the making of the residency concert and the album process going over the theme and sound of the new record.
That combo will bode well...especially to the people that are half in-half out.

I still don't agree with promo singles, because then when the album is out we only have 6 or 7 new songs to look forward to. If anything, I agree on promo singles for newer artists, not at the level of Britney, the more songs that are out there floating in the internet, the less albums she is going to sell because people are just going to download it. She is already established, whoever is going to buy her albums will buy her albums, or worst case scenario, she is going to sell less because she has already peaked, with Katy I believe it's different because I don't think she has peaked yet, and she is still at a point where she can gain more fans (not that Britney can't, but I hope I'm getting my point across)... But with Britney I don't know, I don't see that sort of thing working in her favor. What I do agree with you, is that she needs a second single out (not yet because it is too soon, but before the album yes) and having a Behind The Scenes, or even something similar to the ITZ special or even a documentary of the residency will do wonders for her.
