Nnnn i remember my mum wanted born this way for mothers day which wasnt long after the release, so i went into the store to get it (this before i properly stanned) but it was REALLY busy and i saw the born this way posters and the album literally EVERYWHERE so i left as soon as possible and bought it online instead
It felt so weird buying BTW on the first day. The store employee at the cash register was judging me HARD. I brought BTW up to the counter so I could pay and the employee (I guess he hadn't seen the motorcycle cover yet) was looking like "WTF is this?". He looked at the album cover, then back at me, then back at the album cover. He looked really disturbed, actually. The struggle was real during the BTW era Let's hope this album cover is better
When I bought BTW the day it came out I bought the standard and delux edition so when I went to the tills to pay, the cashier was a man and he said 'you do know they are both the same just different pictures, you can put one back' and the awkwardness when I just bought them and he thought I was stupid
But on to the family, my mum and dad loved the cover
