No, you are acting out in a passive aggressive way because if you were really dealing with lowering your expectations you would just address it once instead of the redundancy of spamming your half-empty thoughts...especially in base just to get attention.
So, yes. People see through it and the fact that you are acting out makes it clear that you are handling it lot worse than the way you try to pass it off.
