Well you know how sometimes you get an email telling you that X song is out (I just got one for the Applause remixes), well apparently a few thousands of people got one for Dark Horse recently. But of course nothing forced them to buy the song.

I'm pretty sure some type of promo is going to happen within the next 1-2 weeks. Judas was released about 2 months after BTW, so if Interscope is following that pattern, maybe a promo single should be coming soon (since we're two nearly two months in from Applause).

She's still working on it in the studio. Even though it was due to be turned into Interscope 4 days ago.

I think something went wrong when she played the album to her label. Maybe it wasn't commercial enough, she can't afford to have another single underperforming (Applause is doing decently in the US, but WW...)

Katy and Miley are both much bigger than her. Roar alone is a bigger smash than Royals. WOA and Dark Horse are bigger than any Lorde's songs but Royals so far.

Plus PRISM is definately going to sell more than Pure ****.
