Lumping Music Box and Memoirs with the unholy trifecta?
Sure "Hero" is overrated, but just having Dreamlover and AYNAF on the album automatically elevates Music Box to greatness
Lemme just answer this real quick by drawing an comparison to Tommy Mottola. Just like Tommy, Music Box is a trainwreck overall. Although both Tommy and Music Box have certain admirable qualities (the latter moreso than the former, but nonetheless), such as shooting Mariah to super-stardom, one just cannot make themselves appreciate said objects based on these positive qualities only. Ignoring the blandness of the objects is just impossible given that this quality is the most prominent.
As far as Memoirs goes, it's just not worthy of discussion
Music Box is one of her best albums. Just looking at the tracklist, I can't spot any flaws. It's probably her next best (maybe on par with Emotions) after Butterfly and Daydream.
Some girl I been hanging out with lately at school was walking in the Hallway and she smelled good, this girl said "What scent are you wearing?" she said "Butterflies by Mariah Carey or something".

Can y'all GO SOMEWHERE w/ this album argument over which is the best album, which has been done on a DAILY BASIS for years - and come to the conclusion her discography slays as a whole?
K thx.
But we CAN DISCUSS ha best Urban feature: I Know What You Want, Things That U Do, U Make Me Wanna, Lil L.O.V.E., etc.
Things That U Do > IKWYT > U Make Me Wanna > the rest.
