Just because a song doesn't hit #1 doesn't make it a flop. It's still in the Top 10 after 50+ days, that's not a flop. And it charted in the Top 10 in the majority of the major markets, so I still don't understand where you're coming from.
I think you MIGHT stop having to taking everyone else's opinions for fact.
