Well it's clear that Lorde's inspired by Lana's concept. I feel like Lorde is just mocking Lana's imagery in her lyricism; she's perpetuating those details she talked about in the quote, but it doesn't really add up to any message in the song (which I'm sure was done on purpose hence the amount of time).

Usher is not a one-hit wonder in the US. However in many other areas he is, though. And I think GUI is from Brazil/Mexico or whatever so it's understandable to call Usher a one-hit wonder there
