I don't know about Applause but i just checked the Roar video thread and:

7 Hours - 1,035,036
15 Hours - Nearly 3 Million views
22 Hours - 4,440,342 Views
24 Hours - 6,348,918 views

So I guess WB isn't doing that bad at all, it should be noted though that Roar had twice as much likes on its first day. Either way it's doing decently i guess.

In the end it matters most how much views it gets in the long run.

Applause got nearly twice as much views first day as Roar yet hasn't even passed 70 Million while Roar is over 100 Million.

3M views is just fine for the first day. My guess is that it might do possibly 4M by the end of the 24 hours when it's updated properly.
