Country is a bigger album seller than Pop (you can make the argument that most of Red is pop, but she still has a big country fan base that will buy her albums), so that is one thing to consider.
I think it could be possible, though. Katy came off of one of the biggest eras in recent pop history, so maybe people will actually buy this album to see what she has to deliver this time.
I am going to say....not likely, but I wouldn't be all too surprised if she did.
LOL. Her last album had a 6 #1 singles and 2 other Top 3s, she promoted it for over 2 years, re-released it and had a movie to promote it. The album ended up sellong 2.7 millions only, what makes you think that she can top half of those sales in a week?
