It's so weird. She was struggling to pass Dark Horse in Australia when I went to bed last night. How the hell does she jump 70% while everyone's asleep?
How can she be so important if we never hear any of her songs outside the US?
She's important because she was the first female pop star to bring choreography to the forefront of performances, music videos, etc. No other women were doing what she did before she did it. Janet did the headmic/headset thing before anyone else. Even if you don't like her songs, she was very important to pop music.
