Teenage Dream was released in the summer too, where sales are the pits.
Katy is kinda doing a mix between what Pink and Taylor did last year and both sold really well. She even went lowkey for the cover to not scare the adults.
The one thing I don't want to see is Roar making Record of the Year. That will be really tragic.
Even though her songs are slaughtering everything, the beginning of the TD era felt bigger. CG felt way bigger than Roar, and was an actually relevant single. Roar is statistically huge but nobody gives a **** because its a horrible generic mess.
If Gagz next single is about sculptures or canvases then I will officially place her as the next Cher. I've already accepted that she's gonna retire early and join Broadway, but I'll wait a few more weeks....
