I can see your point and I kind of agree with it.
I think everyone is looking too much into it though. Putting aside all the statistics, history, receipts, I think Miley just mean Britney is the main role model for today's young stars because she was in the music business and HUGE when they were growing up. Just like Madonna was when Britney was growing up. Not necessarily about being controversial and pushing limits.
Britney has been the most consistent artist from the 90s who is still relevant even a decade after her debut who is always innovative and consistent with her music and videos.
