The funny thing about the Fergie era was her longevity and how she shut everyone down.
London Bridge happened and went number 1 but didn't sell any albums. Then came Fergalicious, also huge but blocked by Irreplaceable. She announced Glamorous and people thought that was it, but it was also huge and by the time Big Girls started its run, everybody went "No way she's gonna slay with this ballad!" and it became her signature song. The album was selling like crazy, the singles were all huge and she even found room for Clumsy.
It was a really fun era and the meltdowns were real.
But she just has such an odd hair and jaw line, it just ruins the rest of her face.
