Today I heard a song on the radio that I really liked so I googled the lyrics and it was Arctic Monkeys. Thank GOD I don't need critics from obscure music publications to point out good songs to me!
Miley is better than garbage like Gaga, Rihanna, Katy, Britney...that's what she should be compared to. She's not worthy of being put on the same graph as BB.

Her music and lyrics are so refreshing. Lorde knows we have enough songs and movies about fantasy wish fulfillment wealth. After a while it gets annoying (I can't handle another Nancy Meyers home decor p0rn movie). One of the things I liked about Mud this year is that it's about struggling working-class people. It's nice to have that in music too.
