tbh only the dance scenes will make the difference... if she doesnt serve those moves the video is doomed
One of the dancers in the video - notice this, not the coreographer or the director - is friends with a friend of mine and she said the fans are gonna be surprised at how incredible Britney is with the dancing moves this time. I didn't wanna get excited, but after that...
Update - Work Bitch's Pop Airplay Chart Run (so far.)
How It Works
Next to the date of the update is the position on the chart. Under that is spins, AI, and total spins.
Because it's a 7 day rolling chart, starting with the song's second week, I put how many spins the song got and the AI gained off of those spins in parentheses under the normal update. This is figured out by comparing the update to the same day a week ago, which is how the airplay chart figures out its updates.
For example: Work Bitch
Mon - Sept 23 - #25
+002 spins -2.208 AI (3489)
(500 spins +3.843 AI)
_______________________
With the rolling chart format, the song essentially "loses" the spins and AI from the same day a week ago. So to get a net gain of +2 spins and net loss of -2.208 million AI, Work Bitch would have had to get 3.843 million AI off of 500 spins (because it loses 498 spins and 6.051 million AI.)
Mon Sept 23 +002 spins -2.208 AI
Mon Sept 16 +498 spins. +6.051 AI
--------------------------
500 spins +3.843 AI
Finally, the rolling spin "totals" are figured out the same way. They add the spin update to the total number of spins from the day before. On Sunday Sept 22, her total spins were at 3487. Because she had a net gain of 2 spins on Monday Sept 23 (over her comp from a week ago) her total spins go from 3487 to 3489 (again, she loses the 498 spins from Monday Sept 16, but gains 500 spins from Monday Sept 23, resulting in the +2 spins.)
And for those worried about today's update. It was perfectly healthy. She lost 3.278 million AI and 430 spins from Friday of last week and still gained 100 spins and +0.226 million AI (that means she had 530 spins for +3.504 million AI yesterday. To put that in perspective, 530 spins is tied for the most spins Work Bitch got in a non-premiere day and +3.504 AI is its 3rd largest AI "gain" on a non-premiere day.)
Tomorrow and Sunday's updates go up against slightly lower comps than today, but still expect updates on the smaller side until Monday when the rolling effect starts benefitting Work Bitch.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the #24 is a new peak on Pop Airplay for Work Bitch!

i think she won't perform Work B**ch on TV because they cant boardcast the song have too much "b**ch"
Ryan doesnt even say Work bitch, he said Work work *dead*
Just have a video and want to #1 Billboard hot 100, hell to the no.
Bitch is allowed on broadcast TV in the US.
As for radio, it is up to the station. They are also allowed to use the word "bitch" without being penalized. That said, RCA left it up to the radio station programmers to decide what version to play. According to Billboard, it's been around a 50/50 split for 'Work Bitch' vs. 'Work Work.' Some radio stations go for 'Work Work' to be on the safe side and make sure their station is "family friendly" while stations like Z100 have only played 'Work Bitch' with no complaints from listeners yet.
At this point, I'll be perfectly happy with Top 20 before the video. I just want it to go Top 10 digitally again so we can have a shot at going Top 10 on the Hot 100.
