It's a project video, not a music video. It's not meant to attract excessive media-attention. And why do I see you all talking about it more than her actual fans?
I blame Jay Zoo for this. He spent more time bigging up Miley instead of J. Cole during his promo run.
Majority of J. Cole's success is because of J. Cole and his mixtape following. Camel-Z spends more time bigging up artists who are not even on his label. I'm glad J. Cole is showing that he can carry himself with a following without the help of that desert creature. After all, J. Cole has a degree and is more talented than Bill CoZby.
Katy was trying to take the same direction as diamonds with Roar and she was trying to copy jump with dark horse. Literally every pop girl besides Lorde now is copying her or has copied RihLORD at one point or another.
M fave kinda messed up by only releasing 2 official singles and only having 4 televised performances, but she still managed to sell 4M with her album and both those singles went #1 all over the World so it's all good
There are a couple other songs that have a really modern EDM vibe and other stuff that has more of a "Ray of Light" (Madonna) vibe. I really think of this as Britney's "Ray of Light" album -- it's kind of like that in a lot of ways.
