While it would be nice to have a full cohesive album, her on the charts, doing more high profile performances it hasn't been that bad.. It's only because of the trolling.. We've still had over 5 songs this year, loadsa performances, a tour, photoshoots etc.. It could of been tons worse..

The singer Beyoncé not only came to Puerto Rico a week before the concert to be presented on Saturday, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, to move from the island to the different parts of the Caribbean leg of his world tour.

El Nuevo Día Sources confirmed that the singer of "Halo" and "Single Ladies" stepped on Puerto Rican soil to record a new music video.

In a remote beach on the island and under heavy security, Beyoncé filmed scenes for a new video.

I know what you mean.
I think she has worked with Jonas Akerlund, that she had a meeting with Woodkid (but it was back in February). Anyway I think it reassuring that she is surrounded by talented directors. Also her videos for the MCSWT were amazing, I'm hoping that the music videos this era will be as good.
