Well it still goes up against its comp from the same day last week. In this case it'll be +2.356 million AI.

If she gains 3.5 million AI today, her update will be +1.144 million AI.

I think every radio update is compared to the same update you had the exact day the week before. So let's say last monday she gained 10 million (because of the radio deal), since she lost 7 million today that'd mean that in a "normal day" she would've gained 3 million. For example, if tomorrow she gains 3 million, then in order to have a positive update 7 days from tomorrow, she'd need to gain MORE than 3 million, so if she gains 3,2 million, the update would be +0.2

Yup that's basically how it works. I don't know why they do the rolling 7 day chart format like they do, but like you said, songs always go up against their update from the same day the week before.

that doesn't make sense because gaga has been gaining like 2-3M everyday for the past few weeks, like lets say last week she got a 3+M update, today she also got a 3+M update, going by our logic wouldn't that mean that last week she should've gotten a 6+M update? not sure, im confused.
