I did say though that it would probably underperform/flop in the US but do well globally and it turned out to be the opposite.

While it was under perfoming in the US, it was in the Top 5 WW on iTunes, and is still in the Top 10 on official charts in Germany, Japan, Italy etc.

Wasn't Applause played at iHeartRadio yesterday too? I remember there was a thread & the monsters were celebrating the DJ's choice.

Katy's promo effect is split between two songs. Combined, Katy is selling more copies this week.
