Alot of these Disney movies are depressing & many of these fairy tales come from dark origins.
Bambi used to make me cry as a kid. Lion King too. Weird that it is loosely based off of Macbeth. Shakespeare his power.
I re-watched Dumbo recently; that movie is a tearfest. SO depressing up until the end.
His debut and Take Care are way, way better. He needs to milk "Hold On We're Going Home" for all he can because there's no other smashes on there. 700k+ opening week and an overall of like 1.5 million is guaranteed at this point, though.

Ikr!! Also a lot of Movies/Shows on Disney have witches and wizards and like psychics. I always wonder if they're glorifying them or trying to make kids less scared of them.
