On another note, I truly do think it is BEST for the first performance of WB to come after the video. For some strange reason, after 6 years, fans still believe DanceNey or whatever they say is going to make a comeback, and the LAST thing those poor meltdown prone individuals need is for their first chance to see Bigfoot Britney dancing is on stage.

I agree. And it actually makes sense, especially considering there won't be any relevant award shows for Britney to perform any time soon. The only other possibility was the Vegas announcement, if she didn't then, it's best to wait.
