You do realize this is probably one of her fastest songs to hit 1 million right? She usually doesn't sell a lot per week, she usually has lots of longevity

She's #6 on iTunes (about to be back at #5 actually) and has been getting 2/3M radio updates for a couple of weeks now. She will also be top10 on overall radio (a feat she hasn't achieved since Summer 2011) in a week or so unless updates dramatically slow down. Massive promo is VMAs three weeks ago and a morning show? She has a commercial but her competition has way higher radio play. In the rest of the world she underperformed a bit but did fine (multiple weeks in the top10 almost everywhere) for zero promo.

Hmmm I agree that we've had big prime time promotion. But we're talking about more. We've had the VMAs, the commercial, and GMA. (not to mention the premiere of the video). Pretty good, but with it's current chart position it could use another promo like SNL.

She hasn't had any T.V performance outside of the U.S so far this era. And I say T.V because Swinefest wasn't aired on television.

It has got pretty average promo for a lead single. VMAs (where she was overshadowed by everyone!!!1) and a morning show in a month and a half, nothing outside the US She has a commercial but her competition (Katy, Drake, Lorde, Avicii) has got much more airplay.

VMA's and GMA are not the only promotion the song has received and you know it. TV aired performances are just one of thousand ways promotion can get done. Face the reality. Oh, and to those saying no worldwide promo, VMA's are aired all around the world and MTV displays the awards daily for over a week pretty much everywhere. As you all see, you're only giving excuses, so no need to argue about it with you all.
