"Second chance" really? She hasn't done anything wrong, she's still one of the biggest Popstars in the world, but she lost touch with the public with BTW and she's still not getting in touch with them with Applause. She has to decide if she wants to still be the "Popstar" or the "I don't make music to sell" type of artist.

This is just her first single tho. Like for example we belong together was mariah's 2nd single and I just learnt that recently always thought it was her first. M nt saying she'll have a big hil like WBT but just chillax

True. Hong Kong shouldn't be on there though with only 7 Million people and not even being a country.

I think "Walking On Air" will go #1. It'll increase faster due to PRISM pre-orders being higher (thanks to Dark Horse ) and it's more pop-friendly (not to say that DH isn't, though)

Hopefully. I'm looking forward to what Gaga has to offer this era.

5 Katy Perry - Dark Horse (feat. Juicy J)
6 Lady Gaga - Applause
Still? Mess.

Katy coming from a highly successful singles era and still following her TD fomular vs Gaga coming of a subpar era and last promo single, Get it?

If you are expecting her to make songs like roar, that's never going to happen. The thing with Gaga is, she puts out what she likes and expects people to like it too.

Yea, I think it will too ( ), and it's a very high chance it will if she performs it at the iTunes Festival, which happens to be streaming the same day that WOA comes out (or before, I'm not sure)

i supposed when you're an artist, you will do something you think yoj want to do as opposed to.something your audience like.
gaga and katy are definitely two different kind of artist. Not saying that katy is bad, just that she chose to cater to thr taste of GP while gaga just wants to do her own thing while pleasing GP to a certain extent now.

She can still do what she likes and it can be successful, its just the way she does it that matters. Lady Gaga releasing "Roar" would never work, "Roar" is tailored for Katy because it fits her as an artist.
I love Aura, I think it offers something to the table, unlike Applause which is just there. If Rihanna is on Sex Dreams then its going to be one of the best tracks of the year.
It's all up to Gaga. She can do better than this, much better.

Yeh. It has its own iTunes store though I guess So that's probably why, just an exception.
7 million is significantly more than Finland or Norway, which are both in the list.

No offense and I like Katy, but does she really have an opinion on what songs she records and releases? Her label is making all the decisions and they were wise with what they are doing right now.

But this is what I like about Gaga and her struggle, there is something always to look forward to / achieve. That's what's the best part

It's nice for a night out on the town. That's about it. Europe will stan hard for it, though.

I think she has some say on what gets released since she pushed for TOTGA to be the sixth single.

I don't think it necessarily has to do with population though. For example, Saudi Arabia is excluded when you click "Hide Small Countries" even though it has 29 Million, Greece is excluded with 10 Million, Argentina is excluded with 41 Million.
I think most interestingly Singapore is excluded, while Hong Kong isn't. They both have similar populations, and are of similar land area, but the one that isn't a country (Hong Kong) is included. It just seems a bit arbitrary to me, but whatever, I'm probably looking too much into it. Lol

i hope gaga starts playing the chart game this time around, remixes and discounts
just to prove that everyone can be #1 if you pull a big name on your song or discount the song wben it is high on airplay

Wouldn't the small countries thing be about the size of the country in terms of global music sales?
