I love when people act like we remember all our legends for their music and not their pop cultural contributions.

The hits are there, but nobody knows or cares how many #1s Madonna has or how may albums Michael Jackson sold. We remember their impact and iconography in addition to their classics. The Beatles are remembered for their generation defining frenzy as well their music. James Brown is remembered for his performing. Freddie is remembered for his stage persona. Same with Elton. Same with Bowie. Prince. ETC.

Dismissing Gaga for having genuine cultural impact through meat dresses, eggs, costumes etc. as well as global smash pop songs is just DAFT.

History tells us that she has a much better chance of being remembered than someone like Katy who has a lot of hits but disproportionately low impact and interest.

I won't even go into talent and respect...
