Neil is getting tough love support from another newbie, Dede, played impressively by Alecia Moore, better known as the pop star Pink. Whatever she wants to call herself, Moore's first scene alone proves she can be a movie star if she wishes.
I kinda love Shaki. She could have been the #1 pop star if the top 3 music markets didn't ignore her and many other important Anglo-Saxan markets such as Australia and Canada. I mean, Latin countries are great, but let's face it, they're poor and irrelevant.

"Thanks for Sharing" is a movie that has been planned and micromanaged down to the last detail, and it could use much more unpredictability, much more unsteady life. Of all the cast here, the least experienced is the pop singer Pink, yet she does the best acting in the film: natural, a little harsh, a little unstable. Pink, like Macy Gray in her Lee Daniels movie roles, knows instinctively how to behave on camera by just pretending that the camera isn't there. This comes as a relief, but it also seems like a way out that "Thanks for Sharing" doesn't take.
Yeah Shakira is way bigger, more successful and more legendary than Jennifer. Jennifer's consolation prize is that she is bigger, more successful and more legendary than Pepcé.
