American Girl is great and I loved it back when it was first released (burned out on it now) but I mean that sound is dead. It's not eclectic enough to do anything substantial. Assuming this goes nowhere, I think she should pull the breaks until the top of 2014. At that point she will probably have had a Katy or Brit song or two smash and when she promotes her new single she can try to capitalize off that.
Guys, request "American Girl" by giving it 20 thumbs up in every radio station (everytime you can)! It's really working, almost all the radios stations are playing the song!!!
