No, I'm saying that Britney's career reached astronomical heights without Hot 100 #1 hits, so who cares if "Work Bitch" doesn't reach the top spot?

Our girl is releasing new music for the first time in 2 years. Can't we appreciate that fact and enjoy the new tune?

I don't think anybody is freaking out anymore - in my case, I am just now expecting even less than I was before. It's not just about the single not topping iTunes, it's about how messy everything has been handled so far - Where da **** is the lyrics video? Where is the promo that DOES NOT require Britney's presence? - so I won't be here going crazy over a supposedly back to form music video before we actually get it.




As for that bolded question... I'm sure you know there are SEVERAL plausible reasons for that, so don't act like one of the haters.

I love the song, it is a great tune, but it doesn't change the fact that it is one of my least favourite lead singles of her.

How am I acting like a hater? I'm anything but a hater, dahling.

I know that there has been little promotion. Maybe I'm too hopeful, but I just don't think that we should count out "Work Bitch" just yet. Things can always turn around quickly and easily. However, I, too, am lowering my expectations for the era.
