It was made in 2 weeks and its supposed to be a party album (hence Bday) which is why the songs sound alike. Not as good as Dil or Destiny Fulfilled imo but its an ok album. It's easily her most fun one. She shows personality (for once!) on it.

I believe Spring Breakers was a bit controversial during the time of it's release but was soon forgotten afterwards much like everything else in her career.
