Someone like Adam Lambert gets a lot of hate too though. Like I said, they have a problem with people who don't conform to gender stereotypes. I think that sentiment is stronger than the actual anti-lesbian sentiment.

If this thread doesn't showcase the Anti-Lesbian feelings in this site, I don't know what will.
I really hope people can reflect upon their words and see that it hurts other people to. We may talk about celebrities in jest, but I have no specific ill-will towards anyone (other than a lot of BB15 contestants).

That's another thing, ATRL has an obsession with masculine (or as they call it "straight acting") gay guys, which is hilarious because most of the members here are probably on the feminine side in real life. Y'all act like a feminine gay guy is the anti christ or something.

As someone who has an openly lesbian sister, I really appreciate this thread. It baffles me how so much hatred exists in the LGBT community. In my opinion, it doesn't matter if whether you're a man attracted to other men, a woman attracted to other women, a man/woman who likes both men and women, or a transgender person. You all share a commonality and I feel like you should embrace each other. Love is beautiful no matter who it's between. I've never understood the hate for lesbians or feminine gays on this site. Aren't you all susceptible for ridicule because of your sexual orientation and being different? Homosexuality isn't exclusive to masculine men.

I know right, surprising how a site full of queens are shading others for not dressing/acting like their gender (not saying that Adam and P!nk don't though) just in general

Yeah, I didn't expect this thread to do too much other than have some weak/ false shade thrown in my direction. I just hope in the future we can actually put some LBT in the LGBT community. I guess that's in a different life, which is unfortunate as we're in 2013.
But thanks to all the people who sent good messages my way. I feel better than when I saw that P!nk thread. Thanks guys. I just needed to vent about this issue, even though I know it won't be fixed in a while, it's nice to know that people in the gay community that can be caring:

I can fairly say that the majority of the people making those jokes in the P!nk thread are the typical sheep that follow whatever the rest of the flock does. Most of these users here have no personality.
I do agree, it is sickening. I feel like the most-discriminated people end up being the most close-minded in the end. It's sad, but true.

Yes and I have the perfect design for it but ATRL only cares about ****s when it involves P!nk being made fun of. Lesbians are often overlooked and overshadowed.

It goes beyond P!nk though. I've seen offensive comments being made about lesbians in general. I think it's mostly fueled by the fact that gay men don't like vagina and they are completely baffled that someone actually does. ***** is treated like some type of disease on here. How dare someone actually be into it.

People need to recognize that it was the lesbians and allies who were nursing the HIV/AIDS positive gay men who were wasting away from the disease during the worse times of the epidemic in the 70s and 80s.
I do think that we need to support each other since the LGBTQ community already experiences so much discrimination and prejudice. I wonder if sometimes we internalize all that hate and project it onto each other.

 ? I don't hate P!nk. Sometimes I think she can be a bit too arrogant, but aside from that I like her personality and her music. I don't remember if I said anything before, but I don't recall saying I don't like her.
