It happened again! I just listened to TEOM and suddenly To The Floor began! I totally blocked this ****ing song out of my mind. I tried so hard to ignore its existence. It must be the only song of all her songs that I actually hate hate hate hate hate

Can't believe it's actually been 4 years since the last proper release (if excluding the Christmas album, which I found to be a project just for fun during her pregnancy).

So I was re-listening to the debut while trying to read (yea I know, stupid) and I realized how much I actually like each song on it. I just love to sing along to every song. It's so fun because she is so expressive with her voice and she adds so much attitude to the songs with it [[which is why I fail to see how people can say that Mariah doesn't 'emote' well. All these runs aren't unnessecary; they're there to emphasize some feelings. If It's Over wouldn't be as intense without the excessive, but heavenly vocals]].
Anyway, her rapping in Prisoner and Someday>>>
And I also like her whistle at the end of Someday, which they faded away on the album version. However, she killed it live @ 3.50.
