But they were not US singles.
Most people are only exposed to singles if they're played on the radio in their country or performed.
The US people wouldn't be like "Oh..I Care is getting played on Italian Contemporary Radio! Lemme purchase it!".
US singles are really the only ones worth discussing when it comes to this.
