Honestly, the interview wasn't even that bad. People were just expecting too much because TMZ said there would be a performance. There def should have been one to promote the single but.. oh well.
What is the deal with all of the breakdowns? It was fine. She was obviously sick and/or out of it, but even at that it was pretty much what I was expecting since a performance was not guaranteed. The pre-taped interview in which she did not just come off of a helicopter she threw up in was just find. The Army has such a huge problem overhyping themselves for things like this. Let's live in the real world, people. If something is not confirmed officially, let's not set ourselves up for disappointment constantly. It's getting old.
I just want to talk about how CONFIDENT and natural she was in that interview. I haven't heard her sound so sincere and non-robotic in so long. She looked happy actually.

britney did the usual -- looked awkward, bored and ready to go. didn't acknowledge fans or whoever the people were who were holding signs for her for hours and got stuck in the mud etc and basically peaced out as soon as possible.
