Honestly Grown Woman and Standing on the Sun are quality tracks and the other girls could never. Like both songs could win Grammys. That's how good they are IMO. I was hoping for them to be on the album, but i'd rather she released all original songs now.

I hope we get the Grown Woman video on the Mrs Carter Tour DVD.

Standing on the sun slays. She could have release that song and it would have smashed but commercially and critically. GW just needed a finished touch and a little production remake.

Grown Woman was created with a live setting in mind. It's one of the high lights of the tour and that's because the instrumentation is perfect. It's actually one of my favorite Bey songs. Fela Kuti his influence.

I love GW but it sounds like a demo. Live setting is a great idea it worked for Bruno on Locked Out Of Heaven(I think ) so I'm sure it will for Bey as well. She just needs to get the production right.

The GW version being played in the Pepsi commercial slays, I got so excited when I heard it but then got left disappointed when it leaked. It was nothing alike. The songs slays live tho.

the studio version of Grown Woman is a little monotonous but I still love it. & it's still above the other pop songs out now because it has a lot more going for it creatively. the harmonies, the melody, the actual variation in lyrics vs these other girls repeating a hook + chorus over a beat for 4 mins with no thought put into the verses. it's an effortlessly fun & addictive song...

I still want iTunes quality of both GW & SOTS but at the same time I don't want them on the album. decisions, decisions...
