They were really close, nobody goes on vacation with someone they aren't close too. Katy probably know the REAL version of events of 09 and seeing Rihanna going back to it she wasn't for it they argued stop talking for awhile but I do think they are "re-building" a friendship atm. But maybe maybe it's not too late for the collab since Katy album isn't coming out before late October.

You're thinking of it to the extreme. Of course what Chris did isn't comparable to John
- But John M, Travis Mccoy, Russell Brand were/are in some way assholes. That didn't stop Katy from loving and dating them. Abuse comes in many forms. Katy opened up about how she was emotionally abused by Russell. You live & learn still doesn't give people the right to pass judgement.
IMO Katy is no Mel or Lele to Rih. So I don't think even she knows the backstory to what happened that night.
Whatever but like you said they seem to be cool again so we'll see if a collab ever happens. Hopefully so it would dominate the charts for sure
