It worked like this. If Rihanna retweeted the campaign to her 30M followers, it counted as exposure to 30M. Now consider the fact Gaga, Katy, Adele, Bey, etc. all tweeted about it. You're already heading for 100M.
if each of those 100M shared it to their lets say 100 followers, that's 1 billion.
It didn't work on visits to the actual website unfortunately.
