I dont know how African hair grows. Just as how I doubt most people who dont have African hair do either. Im assuming the guy who said the comment didnt know considering he isnt black.
he wouldn't have told a white artist who wear weave to "grow hair" , but yet he says it to a black artist because everybody knows black hair doesn't normally grow as long as any other race, so if anybody was being racist it was HIM.
